Google Keep note taking service launched

I will be using both. Evernote has many more features that I use and I have over 4900 notes in Evernote. However, I find Evernote a little more cumbersome for quick note taking on my phone or tablet. They are even searchable. I can also record audio in important or fast moving meetings to make sure I don't miss anything.<br /><br />I have used it extensively and it has made me more efficient and organized. The first webinar from Evernote was great and we have a Yammer group  for support, as well as more training from Evernote throughout the year.<br /><br />I'm really looking forward to learning more about how to use Evernote in my classrooms. I want to use it to eliminate paper, simply my students' lives, share resources, and <a href="http://educationaltechnologyguy.blogspot.com/2012/02/using-evernote-for-eportfolios-great.html">create e-portfolio's</a> for them.<br /><br />When the year is up, the students will still have their Evernote accounts, at the free level, and all of their data and information. They will also have learned how to use this great tool as an educational resource. Paper Planners </b>- Even today, with students having smartphones and laptops and tablets, some still prefer to use paper planners. I use to use Franklin Quest planners until I got my first PDA (A Palm IIIxe in 2000). Some planners can be customized for your school too. It is from the <a href="http://www.twitter.com/studyers">same developer</a> that made InstaNotes, which I also just reviewed.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">What is different about <a href="http://studyers.com/">Studyers</a> from other note taking apps is that students can easily add the lecturer's presentation to their notebook and then take notes below each slide and add drawings or graphs. You can also easily share your notes with others. There is also a direct link to look things up on Wikipedia, which can come in very handy during class.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It was very easy to use and there is a "getting started" notebook in the alpha users account I used. </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div>There is also a video about using Studyers here: <a href="http://vimeo.com/34774882">http://vimeo.com/34774882</a> <br /><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">This will be a great tool for educators and students for taking and organizing notes.
